How Snaza handles your information.
Your wardrobe is personal. This overview explains, in plain language, what Snaza handles and where it goes. The complete privacy policy is published with the App Store listing.
Your wardrobe
Garment photos and details are stored on your iPhone first. After you sign in with Apple, wardrobe details and saved looks are backed up to your Snaza account, and garment images are kept in private storage that is reached only through your signed in account. Online images never enter your wardrobe automatically; you choose and confirm every addition.
When images are processed
Some features send an image to a processing provider only when you confirm them: recognizing the pieces in a photo, making a studio cover, reading a care label or creating a photo try on preview. The app tells you before anything is processed. Try on photos and results are not written to Snaza's cloud database; results are kept in private history on your device.
No face recognition
Snaza does not use face recognition, does not create face templates and does not use images to identify a person.
Location and weather
Weather uses a city you choose or, if you allow it, your approximate location while you use the app. The app stores a rounded location for your city. There is no background location tracking.
Calendar and reminders
Connecting calendars and Apple Reminders is optional. Snaza reads only the calendars and lists you select, keeps minimal details such as titles and times, and never creates, edits or deletes your calendar events or reminders. Events and to dos you create inside Snaza stay on your device.
Style preferences
Optional details such as height or a self description stay in the app on your device and are not sent automatically to any service. Privacy settings let you turn off and reset style memory.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist on this website, you are on the list as soon as you submit your email address. We keep that address, when you joined, the page you joined from, the country your connection came from and a one way fingerprint of your network address that helps us stop abuse. We never keep the network address itself. A security check from Cloudflare helps keep automated signups out.
We use your address for one thing: a single email when the app arrives on the App Store. We send nothing before then, and we never sell your address or share it for advertising. That email includes a link to unsubscribe, which takes effect at once, and you can ask us to delete your waitlist details at any time by writing to hello@snaza.app. We delete the waitlist within 90 days after the launch email is sent.
